EXISTING WEBSITE DECISIONS

Repair the site
or rebuild it?

Start with the problem a customer actually hits: a broken contact route, unclear service pages, slow or awkward mobile use, or a system nobody can safely update. We review your existing site and access before recommending work.

A preview is a proposal to review, not a technical diagnosis or a live replacement.

A PRACTICAL DECISION TREE

01

One isolated fault?

If a form, link, image or page is broken while the rest of the site works, identify the affected route, ownership and platform access. A targeted repair may be enough after we verify the cause and ability to make the change.

02

Sound foundation, unclear message?

If the platform is maintainable and the pages function, improve the service explanation, navigation, mobile layout or inquiry path. The change list and review steps belong in a written scope.

03

Broad structural limits?

If the platform cannot be accessed or maintained, key workflows are unreliable, or the needed page structure exceeds a sensible repair, compare a rebuild. Preserve the domain, agreed content and any transferable assets while planning redirects and provider reconnections.

WHAT WE NEED TO CHECK

Evidence before
a price.

SCOPE AND HANDOFF

Repair.

A specific fix or bounded group of fixes is quoted after review. Our standard page-build price does not promise repair of an unknown third-party platform.

Rebuild.

Choose an agreed Grifflit page package and service route only after the page map, reused material, redirects and required features are confirmed. Custom integrations and migration work receive their own scope.

Keep it supported.

Website Care covers an agreed Grifflit site’s hosting, technical maintenance and tier allowance. Existing-site Care or Managed starts only after compatibility, access and required provider setup are confirmed in writing.

Your domain and paid custom deliverables remain yours under the service terms. An export of transferable files does not automatically move hosting or make platform-dependent features work at another provider.
